The two quickly devised a plan to make premium cigars custom blended to Fred's specifications for flavor, quality, and burn profile. The result was the inaugural torpedo shaped DOMM-IX that beautifully balanced the strengths of three unique tobaccos — Dominican Criollo, Havana Vuelta Arriba see ligero, and Corojo ligero — while delivering an outstanding cigar experience.

As with his namesake Cabernet Sauvignons, the Schrader Hispañiola cigars have been master blended from small lots of the finest aged tobacco leaves to highlight the elegance and noble characteristics of each particular vintage of tobacco, as well as provide a truly remarkable and complex profile.

The cigars are produced in limited editions with 11,500 cigars per release. Each 'stick' as The Herk calls them is packaged into an individual wooden display coffin that is then presented in a signature Schrader Hispañiola ten-cigar wood box.
