Historian
Carole Boehk, the official historian of Schrader Cellars, and Fred Schrader have been a winning team since the early days of Fairchilds Fine Art and Colgin-Schrader Cellars some 15+ years ago. In the early 1990s, Carole packed her bags and moved from Florida to the Napa Valley to help Fred start Schrader Cellars.
For nearly two decades, Carole has worked diligently to manage the business affairs for Fred's diverse activities including art, wine, and even a little horse-trading. As you can imagine, she's seen it all, she's heard it all, and remarkably, she has been able to keep everything on track, including Fred.
Whether it was organizing a fine art sale at Christie's in New York, attending a 5:30am vineyard call during harvest or serving as the attentive gatekeeper for Schrader wines, her commitment to quality, meticulous eye, and stalwart demeanor are why we call Carole our "Special Treasure" at Schrader Cellars.
