Single Estate Wines from California's "True" Sonoma Coast
Borne from a shared passion for exceptional Pinot Noirs and Burgundies, Aston Estate represents the dynamic collaboration between Winemaker Thomas Brown, Vintner Fred Schrader, and Secret Weapon, Mr. Big.
The journey began in 2001 when Thomas discovered a spectacular piece of raw land near the township of Annapolis, in the heart of California's "True" Sonoma Coast. Regarded by winemakers and critics alike as the "New Frontier of Excellence", the three aficienados understood the unique balance of microclimate and soils were perfectly suited to growing the finest Pinot Noirs grapes. Within months, the estate vineyard was developed and planted with three premium Dijon clones (115, 667, and 777).
Today, under the direction of superstar Vineyard Manager Ulises Valdez, the Aston Estate vineyard produces a stunning crop of Pinot Noir grapes that then become elegant, richly flavored, and classically-styled compelling wines.
